Mix and Match Fashion with Eclectic and Affordable Queen Esther’s Jewels

BY ALEXIS CAXTON

I am always looking for new places to find unique, yet inexpensive jewelry. Recently, I was downtown running an errand at the Thompson Center when I happened upon Queen Esther’s Jewels, a mini-boutique inside of the Fashion Nail Spa that sells handcrafted fashion jewelry made with precious crystals, perfect for all occasions.

The shop was tucked away and because I love to find hidden treasures, I went in and explored the colorful variety of necklaces, bracelets, brooches and earrings.  The owner, Jennifer, hand makes most of the items and will enthusiastically explain the inspiration behind each and every piece that she creates.

Queen Esther’s Jewels is small, but packed with accessories that can spruce up virtually any outfit.  A majority of the products at Queen Esther’s Jewels are under $40, with select handmade, crystal pieces that run up to $200. You can even put down a small deposit, and Jennifer will put any product on hold for you. You can either wear these pieces alone, or to accent other accessories. I personally love taking custom made bracelets and matching them with some of my other bangles. There are plenty of mix-and-match options that are available.

Shopping should always be treated like an experience, and I had an amazing one at Queen Esther’s Jewelry. It’s difficult to go and buy just one item…and trust me, I know from experience.
