Just when you were thinking that it would be nice to have a cocktail right about now, ZED451, known for its unconventional steakhouse experience and internationally inspired exotic decor, released a new cocktail menu that features seasonal ingredients and house-infused spirits.
Before we talk about these cocktails, we have to pay proper homage to ZED451′s stunning rooftop lounge that overlooks River North with city skyline view. Even if the swanky rooftop scene isn’t your thing, you’ll feel like you’re on vacation between the three cabanas, cozy couches, outdoor fireplace and even a grassy area to give the rooftop an outdoors-y feel. Really, all that’s missing is the pool and a handful of Brazilian cabana boys. The a la carte “Cravings” menu is offered as an alternative to the steakhouse experience 4:30 p.m. to midnight Monday-Friday, and from 10 a.m. to midnight on Saturday and Sunday.
Now in addition to the standard menus, Zed451 is featuring a variety of classic craft beverages that include freshly muddled fruit, tea-infused vodka, fresh lemonade, botanical liqueur and more. The hand-crafted libations are offered in the lounge, main dining room and on the rooftop, which opens at 3:30pm if you want to get an early start to your summer Friday.
The new summer cocktail offerings (alll $12) include:
Balsamic Strawberry Martini: Fresh strawberries, house made simple syrup, Belvedere vodka, a mist of Balsamic vinegar.
Blackberry Mojito: Muddled fresh blackberries and mint with our house made simple syrup and 10 Cane rum
St. John Daly: House made Tazo black tea infused vodka, St. Germaine, house made lemonade, muddled cucumbers and lemons.
The ZED Mule: Fresh lime, Svedka vodka and ginger beer
Pisco Sour: Pisco Porton, Hum botanical liqueur, fresh egg white, house made simple syrup and lemon wedges
