To celebrate National Yoga Month, over 1,600 yoga studios across the country are offering one week of free yoga through October. Chicago locations include: CorePower Yoga, Om on the Range, Kundalini Yoga In The Loop, Fitness Formula Club, Bend Yoga & Movement Studio, Viniyoga Chicago, among others. In addition, Athleta is celebrating National Yoga Month by offering full 30 days of free yoga activities, classes, tips, and giveaways at Athleta.com/yogamonth.
This grassroots awareness campaign is designed to build awareness of yoga’s proven physical and emotional benefits and provide people with the guidance and tools to enhance their personal well-being.
National Yoga Month’s One Week of Free Yoga is something you definitely want to take advantage of. It will allow you to be introduced to new studios, new teachers, and various styles of yoga so you can identify what works best for you and your life, whether you are new to yoga or a regularly practicing yogi.

Registration is open so follow these steps to get started:
- Go to the Yoga Month website
- Start be selecting from participating yoga studios in your area (you must be a new student at the studio you select)
- Print your Yoga Month Card, which will include your name, the studio contact information, and Yoga Month special offers
- Visit your selected studio and enjoy!
Yoga Month’s celebration culminates on September 30, with The Time for Yoga, a global community yoga. Join by organizing a yoga practice around the city with your friends – at North Avenue Beach, Millenium Park, Lincoln Park Zoo or even in your apartment at 7 p.m. on September 30, as an international observance and the culmination of Yoga Month.
