A Few of Our Favorite Things from Art Effect Clothing & Gift Store in Lincoln Park

Are you looking for a quirky, funky gift store in Chicago? Then Art Effect is the perfect place. If you prefer boutique to big box, Art Effect on Armitage Avenue in Lincoln Park  has nearly everything you could want in a shop.

Shop from clothing, accessories and cosmetics to great gift items like home décor, candles, books and stationary — for men and women of all ages (kids too!). Just be warned: shopping here can be both dangerous and addicting. Last week I visited to “window shop” but instead wound up pulling out my credit card when I found perfect gifts for my sister, my best friend…and of course myself.

First, let’s talk clothing. Art Effect has a vast selection of dresses in a number of materials perfect for any occasion. It’s hard to find an affordable store where you can shop for work, evening and weekend wear in one stop, but that’s one of the things we love about Art Effect. We also love that you’ll find reputed designers, including Miss Me, Splendid, Free People and Kensie, alongside up-and-coming labels.
