The only thing better than spending a Saturday afternoon surrounded by brownies is spending a Saturday afternoon surrounded by brownies for a good cause. Join us on Saturday, May 11th from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 900 North Michigan Shops (Level 2) for Chicago’s Fourth Annual Bake Sale for No Kid Hungry.

Some of Chicago’s finest and most talented food bloggers, writers, editors, reporters and media personalities will sell their favorite home-baked goods (made from scratch!).

Not only is the event an opportunity for the Chicago food community to unite over a great cause, but all proceeds from the event will help eliminate childhood hunger in the United States. Currently more than 16 million children live in households in America that struggle to put food on the table (that’s 1 in 5 children!)  While childhood hunger is a major problem, it is one that is solvable … and we can help.

Be the first to sample goods directly from Chicago’s best bakers’ home kitchens:

Lemon Mascarpone Cheesecake from Johanna Cook, Momma Cuisine

Salted Cookies and Cream Cookies from Esi Impraim, Dishing Up Delights

Oreo-Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies from Theresa Carter, The Local Tourist
