It’s hard to decide on a favorite when there’s always something about a burger that makes it stand out from the rest, be it smoked bacon or a special sauce. This week, Rockit Burger Bar takes the ramen burger trend to a whole new level with its Mac Attack Burger, a burger with a mac n’ cheese bun.
We’ve heard about the craze on the East and West coasts for the Ramen Burger, but for us Chicagoans, combining our comfort food favorites: mac n’ cheese with the a classic burger sounds perfectly indulgent.
The Mac Attack Burger features a black angus patty between a gooey fried mac n’ cheese bun. It’s topped with sriracha ketchup, lettuce, tomato and scallions. Served with a side of mixed greens to counter the cheesy goodness of the bun and the juicy burger patty.
Available Tuesday, October 1 – Sunday, October 6.
Rockit Burger Bar, 3700 North Clark Street. For more information call 773-645-4400 or visit online.
