Better Homes and Gardens and Weber Grills have combined forces to bring back a summer favorite to the Chicagoland area. The second annual Chill and Grill Festival will be held in Waveland Park June 9th and 10th. The festival will be sure to light your summer grilling season with its celebrity chef demonstrations, live music, Weber grilling classes, local restaurant recipe tastings, children’s activities, etc.
The festivities begin Saturday at 11AM and continue until 6PM that evening. The park will be smelling delicious again at noon on Sunday and will run this second day until 5PM. Guy Fieri, host of the Food Network’s Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, will even be showing off some of his own grilling skills and concoctions Saturday at 2:30pm.
In addition to irresistible summertime foods and attractions, the Chill and Grill Festival also has a delicious price. Festival admission is free. Shuttle services to and from nearby bus and L stops are also free. To indulge in the showcased food and beverages, attendees will need to purchase a twelve-punch tasting card for $12 in advance online or $15 at the festival. To participate in a Weber grilling class, rising grill masters can purchase their class tickets for $25 in advance online or for $30 at the festival.
